This 2019 Co-Motion Carrera Rohloff Co-Pilot is an eye popping example of how well we are doing with that pledge. It has pretty much everything the tandeming couple might need or want. It is a go fast bike, but has braze ons for racks and fenders. It is comfortable out front on club rides and centuries, but feels right at home on a supported or lightly loaded tour. It's a perfect companion to share private time together. It can take you to see the world. If these describe your dreams, then this is your tandem!
This is a medium size, with 2 cm head tube extension. The paint is a very light and bright 2 color fade - Light Blue to Medium Blue, topped off with the Co-Motion Lighthouse head tube badge.
The drive train is Rohloff hub paired with Gates Carbon Drive. Touring friendly 700x32c Panaracer Pasela PT folding bead tires have been selected. Finally, the stoker is treated to Profile Design Canta Ergo carbon bars. My goodness me!
If ever there was truly a tandem that could do everything, this must be the one!

Important note: Modifications have been made to this tandem in order to achieve a lower climbing gear. Specifically, the 700c wheels have been swapped out for 650b and the front chain ring swapped from 55t to 50t. The result lowers the climbing gear (lowest gear) from 21" to 18". Wow! We've been test riding this new set up, so this bike, though new and under full warranty, now is priced as a demo. Email me to find out about new, low pricing!
